NOTE: The OEM parts commonly fail with catastrophic results! Imagine trying to get your deflated Airide Brougham on a flatbed when your car is facing north or south and your axle is facing east and west. It has happened many times! On top of that nightmare your expensive (near impossible to replace) Airbags will be destroyed, ripped out by the roots, and your quarter panels will be bent badly. Believe me you do not want to go there!
$95
1959 - 60 REAR TRAILING ARM LARGE DIAMETER AFT BUSHING: This part is often badly worn! $100
NOTE:
1- Special custom made tools are required to install these bushings! Without them you will cause severe damage to the trailing arms. Our bushings come with detailed instructions on how to R&R the bushings correctly, and build the required tools.
2- You can also send your arms here for us to R&R the bushings for you. Please see Part #59ZB04-001B
3- This aft trailing arm bushing is especially critical on cars equipped with Airide. If these are worn on and Airide car you will never be able to adjust the rear leveling valves properly! Also when these bushings are badly worn the air bags have been known to rub on the brake drum, especially common on 1960 finned drums, causing them to explode! That can only go on for a very short time! It has happened many times.
