1957 BROUGHAM ONLY FUEL PUMP SAFETY CUT OUT SWITCH/AIRIDE COMPRESSOR OIL FEED LINE BRASS FITTINGS: If you cannot figure out how all this attaches you are not alone. Over the years I have seen a lot of cobbled up cars with all kinds of incorrect fittings. These are commonly missing parts. If you have this common problem you will need this combination of four different, some very odd, fittings that screw into the engine block. It is impossible to get it right without these parts, which you will not find at the local auto parts store! $50
57-58 BROUGHAM AIR RIDE LEVELING VALVE ADJUSTMENT LINK RUBBER BUSHING AND HARDWARE KIT: Rod stop nuts, rubber bushings, and washers. This is a must have item for proper leveling valve adjustment! Without these critical parts it is a hopeless task! 33 Piece set, exact replicas.

They are near impossible to replace! For every complete rebuildable compressor that comes through my shop I have seen 5 incomplete units that are either missing this critical part completely, or have one that has melted down to the point where it is beyond repair. They all need service and repair before they can be used without fear of melt down. If you do not hear a positive click when you actuate the switch button that is a clear indication you have serious internal problems that will lead to a melt down. (However even if it clicks you could still have internal problems) Do not let your switch melt down like so many have before because you will be very unlikely to find a replacement!

Note #2: All 1960 Cadillacs have 5 copper lines and 9 plastic lines. This set is the earlier large diameter type. Somewhere in mid to late 1960 they started using 1/8" diameter tubing. I have also seen original cars with some 3/16" diameter tubing and some 1/8" diameter tubing on the same car from the factory. This larger diameter tubing set will fit both the early and late 1960 cars perfectly. The 1/8" diameter tubing set has not yet been reproduced.
