Note #1: Most (Nearly all) 1959 Cadillacs have 10 copper lines and 4 plastic lines. It would be very rare to find this 9 piece plastic air line arrangement on a 1959 car. I have only heard about this from others, but have never seen it myself. If you run across this on a 1959 it would likely be a very late production number car. Please let us know if you actually have an original unmolested 1959 car with the 9 piece plastic air line set from the factory.

Note #2: All 1960 Cadillacs have 5 copper lines and 9 plastic lines. This set is the earlier large diameter type. Somewhere in mid to late 1960 they started using 1/8" diameter tubing. I have also seen original cars with some 3/16" diameter tubing and some 1/8" diameter tubing on the same car from the factory. This larger diameter tubing set will fit both the early and late 1960 cars perfectly. The 1/8" diameter tubing set has not yet been reproduced.

59-60 CYLINDRICAL AIR LINE SEALS: These very special cylindrical sleeve air line seals are made in a very high precision steel mold for exact fit and perfect seal. In addition we have had them made in a modern high tech rubber compound that will not deteriorate over time like the OEM seals did.

1958-59 REAR AIR DOMES RECONDITIONED: Our process will forever cure the shortcomings in the OEM design. The first seemingly logical step of welding the broken studs back on with a torch is absolutely the worst possible thing you can do to them. Almost without exception will turn a curable disease into a fatal one by doing this. We can fix most domes that were previously damaged by well meaning restorers. When our retrofit repair is complete the parts will be 10x more reliable than when they were new. This is the perfect solution to a very common, but previously impossible to solve problem. 1959-60 AIR LIFT HANDLE ASSEMBLY CABLE REPLACEMENT, RESTORATION: As you have probably discovered this is much easier said than done! Once you cut the loop off the end of the cable to disassemble the unit for chrome and zinc plating you then have a very big problem. The good news is that we have devised a way to install a new wire cable to the chrome handle, and have built the special tooling and fixtures required to re-form the loop at the end after final assembly. $275 


Chrome and Zinc Plating not included. You can either do that yourself before sending the components, or we can do it for you on a time and materials basis. If you decide to do this part of the job yourself please contact us first so we can explain what not to do! (As important as knowing what to do to avoid disaster)

You can follow the extremely detailed instructions that come with our kit and rebuild everything yourself. This option is good for someone who is handy with tools and does not mind spending an ungodly amount of time on the learning curve. It is not rocket science however, if you are good with very tedious work and are willing to put in the time this solution may suit you. This option carries the driveway warranty. If you are the end user and plan to buy our kits, but have someone else to do the work, I can tell you from experience that you would likely be far better off having us rebuild the parts for you.
